This is How You Lose Her - Junot Diaz.
Wow.
Everyone kept saying that I had to read this book and holy shit. I had to.
It's a collection of short stories about love and loss and being an immigrant and family and they're all amazing. My only complaint was that I had to keep asking my brother what some Spanish words were and there were a few that he said, "Those are slang and I have no idea." Thank God for context clues.
This book was amazing. The last story hit close to home - not that I've cheated on someone with 50 different girls, but how he handled the break up. And the writing just flowed. It was like listening to a friend rant.
I've been recommending this book since I finished and I won't stop. It was that great.
