Dark Places by Gillian Flynn.
Wow. I've read Flynn's other two books - Gone Girl and Sharp Objects. And, I'm glad I saved Dark Places for last. This was the best book - by far.
My biggest problem with her other two books was that the endings came on way too fast and in an attempt to neatly wrap everything up, the endings were sprung on the reader.
Not the case in Dark Places.
Everything just worked in this book and I cannot urge you to read it enough. It was the best.
